Note: When testing ohm resistance with a multimeter, it may read 5 to 10 ohm past the spec in each direction. This is normal as there are several steps above and below “E” and “F” in the sender and on the gauge. So it is not uncommon to read a range from 25 to 245 ohm, for example.
